In Spain most people travel during their holidays in August. If you are an advanced student you might want to choose an English speaking place, like Scotland, where you can practice your new language or travel to a country where practically everyone has some skill in English, such as Norway or Holland. Young people in particular are mostly completely fluent in English. On the other hand, English-speaking films and television series are subtitled instead of dubbed. So if you can read this, you should have no problem speaking to other people, or even just watching television in such countries.
Don't be shy: talk to other fellow travellers, to receptionists, waiters, shop assistants...
