THE TOURIST SEASON IS COMING: FOOD VOCABULARY

A lot of my students work in the tourist industry and have asked me to recommend some vocabulary for restaurants: here you have lots of interesting activities!

ADDING EMPHASIS AND INVERSION TO SENTENCES

Emphasis and inversion to sentences can be complicated for Spanish students  because the order of word is very different to the normal order.

POE'S BEAUTIFUL POETRY

Edgar ALlan Poe is a really famous writer mainly for his short-stories, but he is not as well-known for his poetry as for his prose. This is an excellent reading by actor James Earl Jones, don't miss it!

PRONUNCIATION OF THE PAST SIMPLE: "-ED"- REGULAR VERBS

For  the theory and practice of the pronunciation of this sound I recommend the following exercise with a really good explanation and exercises.
