How can you read and listen to your favourite writers?

Here's a suggestion:

Step 1: Go to Project Gutenberg, and search for your favourite text, for example, the Importance of being earnest by Oscar Wilde

Step 2: Another option is trying Bartleby to find a text.

Step 3:Now go to librivox and choose the same text

You're now ready to read and listen to your chosen book!

A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED! (Charlie Chaplin). GREAT LISTENINGS FOR ADVANCED

BBC English/6 minutes English is a great website to improve your listening skills with lots of different topics to strenghen your vocabulary and pronunciation, too:

For example: a few days ago, two students and I were talking about the power of humour, it may seem amazing but psychologists say that learning is easier when there are smiles or even laughter in the atmosphere.
So, in order to laugh and learn at the same time, I suggest the following:

1.Read these quotes about laughter, which is your favourite?

2.Now listen to these two BBC English/ 6 minute English texts, answer the question they ask, read the text to check while you listen at the same time, and finally...............choose your own conclusions about the power of laughter! :)   :)   :)

A.Laughter is bad for you

B.Laughter yoga
